Now Accepting Applications: Jordan Small Middle School (JSMS) Building Implementation Committee
The JSMS Visioning Committee has laid the groundwork with exciting ideas for how the building could serve our community. Now it’s time to move from ideas to action — including exploring what it would take to relocate town offices, the library, and create a community focused center at JSMS.
🚨 Now Accepting Applications! 🚨 The Town is seeking 4 community members to serve on the Jordan Small Middle School (JSMS) Building Implementation Committee.
What this committee will do: This group will turn community vision into a realistic plan by:\ ✔ Reviewing feasibility, costs, and timelines\ ✔ Evaluating operational and community impacts\ ✔ Working with town departments, the school district, and professional experts\ ✔ Developing clear, actionable recommendations for the Select Board\ ✔ Identifying short-, medium-, and long-term implementation strategies
Committee makeup includes:\ • 4 community members\ • Representatives from the Planning Board, School Department, Public Works/Facilities, Parks & Recreation, Budget-Finance Committee, Select Board, and Town Manager
ℹ️ Note: The Town Manager, Select Board, and Budget-Finance Committee representatives serve as ex-officio, non-voting members.
Meeting schedule:\ Meetings will generally be held monthly, with additional meetings during active project phases.
