Preliminary Valuations Are Now Available
The Town of Raymond has completed the valuation phase of its revaluation for the April 1, 2026 tax year. The new property values are preliminary and will not become final until the Town commits the tax roll.
Notices containing your new property valuation have been mailed. Your new assessment reflects fair market value as determined by open-market sales in Raymond from April 1, 2024 through March 31, 2026.

Next Steps
- Please do not attempt to calculate your tax bill at this time. The new tax rate will be calculated and approved by the Select Board in September and is expected to be substantially lower than the current rate.
- Review your valuation card for accuracy. Make sure the information and data related to your property are correct.
- Review the sales information. This information will help you see what properties in Raymond are currently selling for on the open market.
- Review comparable properties. Compare assessments of similar properties to help determine whether your assessment is equitable.
Understanding the Revaluation Process
The goal of mass appraisal is to arrive at a reasonable estimate of value that is fair and consistent across all properties relative to what the market shows.
Raymond’s revaluation uses a statistical model to value approximately 3,900 properties throughout the Town.

Please refer to your valuation notice letter and call KRT at 1-855-228-4033 to schedule an appointment.
Hearings may be held:

- In person at the Town Broadcast Studio, 423 Webbs Mills Road
